Dept. of Geology visited by Alumni.

Dr.Mohit Punia from Kumaon University,Nainital, former alumni from 2010 batch of our department.
 

Gave a lecture on Stereographic Projection used in structural geology. 

He explained each and every aspect about the topic including plotting of  Dip & Strike direction in addition with sigma concept and how it is used to visualize fold, fault etc
