STUDENTS OF M.SC. FINAL VISITED NAINTAL FOR THE FIELD TRAINING.

Students of M.Sc. Final visited Naintal for field training and studied the lithology, structural features and stratigraphy of the Nagthat, Blani, Krol and Tal formations in Nainital and its surrounding areas.

 There the team was guided by,Dr. Ramesh Chandra Patel (Dept. of Geophysics),Dr. Mohit Punia (Dept of Geology, Kumaun University, Nainital),Dr. O.P. Thakur and Dr. Naresh Sagwal. This field training was a part of the curriculum.

The duration of the entire field training was of 10 days, where students of the final year studied the geology of the entire area.
